Cook the filling: beef in a skillet. Add onion, garlic, and spices. Stir in broth and simmer 15-20 mins until thick. Add breadcrumbs if needed. Cool slightly.
Assemble: Roll out half the dough for the bottom crust. Fill with meat mixture. Top with remaining dough, crimp edges, and cut vents.
Bake: Brush with egg wash (1 egg + 1 tbsp water). Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 40-45 mins until golden.
