Ingredients

  • Ahi tuna steaks
  • Sesame seeds black and white, for coating
  • Soy sauce or tamari for marinating
  • Olive oil or sesame oil for searing
For the Dipping Sauce:
  • Soy sauce
  • Rice vinegar
  • Sesame oil
  • Ginger minced or grated
  • Garlic minced
  • Green onions chopped
  • Optional: Sriracha or chili flakes for heat
For Garnish:
  • Pickled ginger
  • Wasabi
  • Sliced green onions

Method
 

  1. Marinate the tuna steaks in soy sauce for 15-30 minutes.
