- Pour tomato sauce into a saucepan over medium-low heat.
- Add sugar, honey, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, basil, black pepper, salt, and red pepper flakes (if using). Stir well.
- Simmer for 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until slightly thickened.
- Taste and adjust seasoning, adding more honey or sugar if desired.
- Remove from heat, let cool, and use immediately or store in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
