Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar or mozzarella cheese
  • 1 can refrigerated biscuit dough
  • 3 tablespoons butter melted
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • chopped parsley optional garnish

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain excess grease.
  3. Season the beef with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
  4. Flatten each biscuit into a small round.
  5. Place a spoonful of cooked beef and a small amount of shredded cheese in the center of each biscuit.
  6. Fold the dough around the filling, pinching the seams tightly to seal and form a ball.
  7. Place the bombs seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
  8. Mix the melted butter with minced garlic and brush generously over each bomb.
  9. Sprinkle grated parmesan evenly over the tops.
  10. Bake for 15–18 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.

Notes

Seal the dough tightly to prevent cheese from leaking. Allow the beef to cool slightly before filling to avoid softening the dough. Freshly grated parmesan provides the best flavor.
