Ingredients

  • Clear contact paper or self-laminating sheets
  • Pressed flowers DIY or store-bought
  • Scissors
  • Embroidery hoop any size or a cardstock frame
  • String or ribbon for hanging
  • Optional: hole punch glitter, ferns, transparent confetti, dried leaves

Method

Prepare Your Frame
  1. Use an embroidery hoop (remove the inner ring) or create your own by cutting a frame out of sturdy cardstock. You can go circular, square, or even heart-shaped for added flair.
Cut the Contact Paper
  1. Cut two identical pieces of clear contact paper, each slightly larger than your chosen frame.
Arrange the Pressed Flowers
  1. Peel the backing off one piece of contact paper and lay it sticky-side up. Gently place your pressed flowers, leaves, or glitter in a design that makes you smile.
Seal the Design
  1. Place the second piece of contact paper sticky-side down over the flowers to seal them in between the two layers. Smooth it out to remove any air bubbles.
Attach to the Frame
  1. Trim away any excess contact paper. Place the sealed flower sheet into your embroidery hoop or tape it neatly behind your cardstock frame.
Add a Hanging Loop
  1. Punch a hole at the top and tie a piece of string or ribbon. Hang your floral masterpiece in a sunny window and enjoy the beautiful display!
